Psoriasis is a chronic dermatosis characterised by erythema and scales. Psoriasis injuries are caused by dermic and epidermal inflammation, by genetic and environmental factors, and are enhanced by incorrect lifestyles.
An area of erythema (redness) can be seen, overlaid by white scales caused by an abnormal thickening of the stratum corneum. The following are the most affected aeas for psoriasis: elbows, knees, hands, skin with hair, scalp, feet.
